Rachael was sitting on one end of the bench. She so wished that she had come earlier, but the message had only said, “TODAY IS THE DAY!”

As she sat there her eyes closed and a gentle breeze rustled the light green leaves on the limbs of the overhanging tree. The smell of freshly dropped showers waved through the air.

Why was he running!? Where was he going? Was someone/something chasing him?”All he could remember was that something had changed and now he was HERE! After a while he just slowed down to a slow walk. In the distance he could see a majestic tree seeming to be calling me him to follow the path! So Matthew took a step and a stepping stone appeared just ahead of him. Every step he took another stone appeared in front of him leading him toward the tree.

Rachael thought she heard footsteps as her head jerked up, In the distance she could hear and see the stone walkway heading her way.

As he got closer she recognized him. She could hardly believe it! Would he recognize her? She had waited so long for this moment! Her heart was beating faster as he got closer! Would he remember? I don’t look like I used to but I’d know him anywhere! Should I remain sitting or stand up. No I’ll stay seated.

When he got within sight of the tree he saw the bench and somebody sitting on one end of it. The stones kept leading him to the bench and immediately stopped when his knee touched the other end of it. WOW! This is my lucky day! A beautiful young lady is here sitting.

In his mind he had no idea who she was but he sat down very slowly.

No, I’m sorry but I don’t . I was running or being chased a while back and then I saw the tree and the stones lead me here.
