OH! IT’S BROKEN! LET’S THROW MONEY AT IT! THAT’L FIX IT!

OUR ROADS ! are in terrible shape! We have new local taxes and now Federal Taxes to improve our “inner structures”.

OUR SCHOOLS! are old and not big enough for so many new students. Let’s raise taxes to fix all of those issues!

OUR CHURCH’S! WE must reach more people and start a “private school” and save them from the world! Let’s save more people and double tithing’s and make all of this happen.

AND GUESS WHAT?! NOTHING CHANGES! DO YOU WANT TO KNOW WHY?

THROWING MONEY at something doesn’t change anything!!!!! If you don’t improve the underlining problems nothing including more money will help!

THINK ABOUT IT!

  1. Hey Lil Bro and boy, did you hit the nail on the head!!! I can not tell you how many people I know who think that money fixes EVERYTHING!!!! Wrong!!!! When my Dad worked for the State Road Dept. and the Florida East Coast Railroad in St. Augustine, FL, he was always coming home saying that the people he worked for could not look farther than their nose and the problem would not be solved until they looked at the bigger picture. They had a suggestion box, people would put their ideas in it and nothing would ever come of them. Why even have it??!! One of our Daughters called the other night saying she needed $1,400 and did not know where she was going to get it. I reminded her that back in January when she got their Income Tax Refund of a little over $5,000 I had told her to send me half of it so that if something came up in the future that she would know she had money to fall back on. Well, she sent me $491. When I asked where the rest of the money went, she admitted they had thrown it away on stuff and that now she wished she had listened to me. The moral of the story is learn from the mistake or mistakes and know that money does not fix everything as sometimes someone needs to fix themselves otherwise the behavior continues. Hugs!
