HOW DO YOU LEARN? Do you really have to physically experience it?

Said the Mother to the  2-year-old child, “Don’t touch that stove! It will burn you!”

Of course that is the first thing the child did as soon as the mother turned her head!!!!! And YES, it burned the child’s hand…………..

  1. Why couldn’t the child just take the mother’s advice?  immaturity, psychology, the child figures that if it is that important it must really be fun and exciting!

But as we get older and hopefully more mature…….we can read about things, actually observe situations taking place in society and see what happens when certain actions/reactions take place.

We can listen to those who are older and more experienced than we are who have personally been in certain situations and know what the consequences are.

BUT DEPENDING ON THE METHOD THAT WE  LEARN from the BEST……….WE MAY HAVE to “LIVE” THE SITUATION OURSELVES TO GET THE FULL IMPACT OF OUR ACTIONS.

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT:

The last man on earth was desperate for water and refuge. He came to an open desert and saw beyond the desert a beautiful oasis. When he got half way across the desert a huge vulture swooped down from the sky and stood directly in front of him and said…….”I have 2 young chicks to feed or they will die and we are the last of the animals on this earth so I’m going to wait for you die and make you a sacrifice to the save the  animal kingdom.”

What do you think should happen in this situation? Should the man try to kill the vulture and eat it to give him strength to make it to the oasis………….OR should the vulture fly away and wait until the man dies in the desert trying to get to the oasis and eat the man to try to save the animal species?
